This site is devoted to the pictures of plants. I name these pictures as portraits because I`m certainly sure that these creatures are not less than people worthy of being portraited or they even deserve more than that. Plants are,at least, much more ancient than we people and the period of existance of some thousand years is not just the same thing as for us humans.
While working in this field more than a guarter of a century and exploring a great deal of the earth surfa a taking part in different expeditions I`ve come to the conviction, that the creatures that we name as plants are not only clever but they are much wiser than we-human beings are. It`s a pity, that their intelligence can`t be accessible for our perception. The devision of us into plants and animals took place so late ago that any spider from another planet is much closer and more understanclable to us than a rose or a camomile in our yard or garden. Imagine that this “brother by intelligence” can also move, breathe and see. Itfeeds itself with the sun light.can you imagin the process of feeding with the sun light?
I`m doubtful that every separate plant is gifted with intelligence or anything else of that kind..., but the associations of plants have this intelligence for sure. It`s only our problem that we don`t understand this type of thinking.
I don`t want to argue on this topic because I`m sure in this and, what is more, I don`t want to change my point of view. Whodoes`t like or accept my opinion can take or consider it as some addity of a painter. However, I`m doubtful if I am a painter or not because I`ve heard about myself from my job fellows many times that what I`m doing is the science and there is nothing to do for me in the art galleries. Yet, the scientists confirm just the opposite. They say that what I`m doing isn`t the science, it`s the art and, of course, they send me to the art galleries. So, was Itravelling here and there, because it might be neither scienee nor art, it`s something in the middle. It`s animalism, the genre-painting that was very famous and popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, but almost fully distroyed by the photography. Now, it`s your turn to judge if can be compared with the photography or not. That`s way, I want you to get acguainted with the animalism.
